I have dyed my hair this medium brown color and i've been wanting to go back to dirty blonde (which is my natural color). I was thinking that i could use a lightener THEN i'd dye it blonde. Will that ruin my hair?? I just want it to be blonde again.. :(

It will be very hard on your hair. When you lighten hair, you are bleaching it which strips it. I would find a color that is a little lighter than the color in your roots, and dye it that color, then when it grows back, it will look more natural.

How long ago did you dye it??? It's not very good for your hair to keep getting dyed.. I would suggest going to the hair salon and having it professionally done.

Hm, you could always mix a little bleach with your shampoo or conditioner. But you could put blonde highlights in your hair, then put lightener on it and let it grow out for about six months (still get the ends trimmed though).

Out of all the different colors they make one should bring you right back to your natural color. I had my hair lighter, but I let the color grow out and cutting the blonde ends off every 3 months It took about 1 and a half years, but now it is dirty blonde againg but I didn't use any chemicals on it . just something you might try

well.. dyeing ur hair period ruins it. but i made a similar mistake to the one u made. just a little lightener and let it grow out. good luck
