Will a perm look good on my hair??

my hair is medium length, straight, super soft, and thin. it usually doesn't hold a curl but i think if i get a perm it will work. thing is i don't know if it would look good. i also want to color my hair a redish brown, but my hair is black now and won't take the color the first time i tried. i really DON'T want to bleach it because im afraid it will ruin my hair! help! will a loose perm look good? how do i lighten my dark brown/black hair without bleaching it?

Your hair is so pretty! Don't do anything to ruin it. Maybe if you get a different cut it will do more stuff.

Your hair looks beautiful straight! Have you tried using a curling iron? Note that if you perm your hair you can't get it straight again.

No....To tell the truth, you look rally cute with it straight. bleaching will b fine, and keep it blonde. it will look awesome. you should get a choppy perm. That will look TOTALLY cute. And you should have some black highlights too. Good luck!

Yes a perm will hold in your hair, you will need to decide what type of curls you want, wavy, curly, spiral, etc... And when you go to the salon they will not be able to color and perm your hair in the same day. If you do the color first you should be able to get the perm the next day. If you do the perm first you have to wait 1 week before getting the color. I personally like your hair color and wouldnt change it. But the good thing about color is that you can always change it back if you do not like it.. Good Luck!

A perm does not stay in your hair forever so it will be straight again, usually in about 5 months but maybe sooner since your hair is so fine. Also, 1 perm will not damage your hair, they do not use the same ingredients they used to use! Call the salon and make sure you ask for a stylist that has done perms before!

I absolutly love your hair the way it is! It goes beautifully with your skin tone. Perm....no. Maybe if you want alittle different you can add some thin red highlights for fun, but wouldn't do a thing with it. Its pretty!

YES! You're hair is too severe with the center part and the straightness of it but please don't try to do it yourself Fine hair is soooo tricky. You'd hate it if it didn't turn out well. Go to a reputable stylist and be SPECIFIC about what you want and consult him/her about which to do first, color or perm. It depends on the condition of your hair now.

You can have some very serious UGLY problems when you try to perm over color or the reverse. You could even end up having to cut it all off!!!
