My roots are starting to show - should I dye all of my hair or only the roots?

My hair is medium brown, and I've dyed it a slightly richer redish/brownish colour. I want it to be even - should I dye only the roots, or the whole head?

I'm not sure if there is any peroxide in the colour.

Just do the roots, then every other time, do your whole head to refresh the color, especially if you notice it fading, since red is the fastest color to fade. Also use shampoo/conditioner for colored hair, Pureology is the best kind, but rather expensive. It's easier to go to a salon, they know what to do better.

hair again the roots are still gonna be a different color.

If it's healthy, dye it all. If not, just do the roots.

if you have 'roots' the color has peroxide.

if the color has peroxide it's a permanant color.

permanent colors only get the 'roots' done.

if the color has faded thru the ends it can be pulled thru on the last 5 minutes only.
